 EnConn's eco-power130T/R high power over Ethernet extender (PoE) is a breakthrough technology based on coaxial cable to deliver high power (>30W) and long reach up to 300m to feed remote PD device. This new technology is using an external 40W PSE which is compatible with 802.3at or pre-at version or even non-standard 802.3af, a pair of eco-power130T and 130R as extended PoE transmitter and receiver, and coaxial cable with low DC resistance.

 By using novel RF technology, it can extend the transmission distance of power and 100Mbps Ethernet data over 200~300m (650~980ft) of RG6/RG11 video-grade coax cable and 100m UTP cable at eco-power130R side.

 EnConn's Power over Ethernet extender, the PoE power and signal from PoE switch or PoE injector are input into eco-power130T and converted into coaxial cable. eco-power130R receives the signal and power from coaxial cable and converts back to PoE interface. This solution allow user to provide 200~300m PoE link by a simple. reliable and cost-effective method.

The eco-power130T/R Power over Ethernet extender consist of 2 easy to install unit:
  • Power over Ethernet (PoE)

  • PoE extender over coax

  • Speed: 10/100 Mbps, full duplexer

  • Cable: RG6/RG11 (75ohm) video-grade coaxial cable or above

  • Transmission distance: 200~300m(650~980ft) coax cable + 100m UTP in RX side

2. Cable DC Resistance = DC Resistance of Cable Inner conductor + DC Resistance of Cable Shield.

3. Typically, regular resistance of RG 6 is 13 ohm/100m.

4. Typically, regular resistance of RG11 is 4.9 ohm/100m.

5. Resistance of Low resistance RG6 such as WC5CFB16-200H is 3.7 ohm/100m.
