The EnConn Power over Ethernet extender (PoE) - POC-TX/2RX is a "Ethernet/Power over coax" solution. By using novel RF technology, it can extend the transmission distance of power and 100Mbps Ethernet data over 300m(980 ft) of RG6 video-grade coaxial cable.
Enconn's Power over Ethernet extender, power can be carried over coaxial cable and converted into PoE interface or 12V DC in remote side. POC-TX combines 48V DC power and Ethernet data signal into a single coaxial cable. POC-2RX can provide two PoE outputs in the remote side. This solution allow user to transmit video signals of two IP cameras up to 650ft and also provide power to remote IP cameras.
By using this product, Ehternet signal and power can pass through coaxial cable without complicated boxes and wiring engineering.The POC-TX/2RX consist of 2 easy to install unit:
